problem in updating the domain name.

  my Domain name is expired on 6march. I paid to update the domain name in wordpress.com(before 4marhc) but it couldn’t work after 6 march. I was using name.com before and would like to switch to wordpress.com. I guess there may be some problem from transferring the domain from name.com. Can you figure this out for me ? thanks

  Hi there,

  We currently do not offer any way for domains to be transferred from other registrars in to WordPress.com. If you wish, you can purchase a new domain here with WordPress.com or you can wait for your domain to fully expire with your current registrar and be returned to the public (a process which can take over 80 days) and then re-register it with WordPress.com, however we do not recommend this.
