problem Inserting image into post

  Hi everyone,

  I am trying to insert a new image into a post I am writing but the Add Image button of the Edit Post toolbar refuses to do anything. It is clickable, and the browser appears to try to load something but nothing happens.

  Same behaviour can be observed in Chrome 10.0.648.204, Firefox 4 and IE 9.

  Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

  Log out, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then try again. Also if you have any script blocking add-ons in use in the browsers, disable them.

  Also, make sure you are using the latest version of flash: http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/

  Thanks but done all that but no cigar. The problem persists :) Any more ideas??

  Contact staff. The only other issue would be something to do with your ISP, perhaps one of the infamous invisible proxy servers they are all using, but you would not think it would only affect the media buttons.

  The only other thing I can suggest is to temporarily disable your virus protection (don’t surf anywhere other than wordpress.COM till you turn it back on though) and then try inserting an image into a post again.

  Make sure and turn the virus protection back on though.

  Thanks for the time and ideas mate, I’ll contact them and see if that’s something systemic on their end or it’s just my side that’s playing up.
