Problem-Internet Explorer- Autofocus theme
-
Hello!
Week ago my blog appeared incorrectly as being suspended. Since then its not working with Internet Explorer 9. Home page is visible, but individual posts can not be open. I try to enable third-party cookies and clearing cache and cookies- but it doesnt helped. What is the reason and what can I do to fix this problem? Thank you in advance!Regards

First, please make sure that your browser is up to date by visiting http://whatbrowser.org/
If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.
If it is, please do these four things:
1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/
2. Make sure that you have third-party cookies enabled: http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/
3. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.
4. Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which browser (and version of) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.

Hi!
I already cleared browser’s cache and cookies, enabled have third-party cookies, disabled all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily and enabled HTTPS- all done, but still there is no result. I am using Internet Explorer 9. What more can I do? -

At the moment I don`t have but I can check out later. Аnother thing I have noticed is that with Opera the categories are arranged in a different way from Mozilla.

Unfortunately the computer with Opera isn`t here, and I cannot tell you which version. When I check up I will write again :)

Hi there!
Its almost a month since I write for last. So issue is the same- IE 9 doesnt run properly my blog ( which mean that on the home page, on each post there isn`t a date of publication and posts are not opening ). Also Chrome browser are showing the categories arranged by a different way from Mozilla. Please help me to solve these problems! -
I’m not seeing any trouble.
Here’s what I see in IE 9: http://d.pr/i/oS8u/8uyMoG7s
Chrome: http://d.pr/i/AFKi/5hnAlBn2
and Firefox: http://d.pr/i/R8RF/MINt0m8v
Do you have compatibility mode enabled in IE 9? If so, please try disabling that.

Thank you for the quick answer. Please notice the difference between Firefox and Chrome/ IE. The category ” excl edit” is located under the other categories ( Chrome ) while on Firefox categories are placed consecutively. How can I fix this? Please tell me where I can check up for compatibility mode in IE9?

It has to do with how the browsers are rending the font size.
Firefox and Chrome are actually doing it correctly, the font is too big to allow it to be on one link.
IE, on the other hand, is displaying the font smaller than it should be, which allows everything to fit.
If I were in your shoes, I’d change “ExclusiveEditorials” to just “Exclusives”. It’s more consistant with the press industry, and would fit on one line through all browsers.
Here are some details on compatibility mode in IE 9: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/products/ie-9/features/compatibility-view
