Problem launching site

    I have a domain registered with Namesilo and I have a Bluehost account that lets me log in to WordPress to create a website. I tried to get this website to go live by entering the Bluehost nameservers on the Namesilo account and changing the WordPress temporary URL to my permanent URL, but after 48 hrs it still takes me to a generic Bluehost ad page. What am I doing wrong? I am a total novice at this.

    Hi there,

    You’re using the open soucre WordPress software maintained over on WordPress.org, so we’re not really able to help you with this on the WordPress.com forums.

    If your domain is already pointing to Bluehost’s servers, then it’s possible it’s not correctly mapped to your site yet on Bluehost’s end. Bluehost support should be able to help out with that – most likely it’s something that still needs to be configured in cPanel – but if they say it’s a software issue instead you can try the WordPress.org forums, here:
