Problem loading design tools
-
I’ve got a problem with the design tools for my blog. When I click the link “customize” the tools don’t load, whereas it works for my other blog with same account in the same time… Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The loading of the design tools is ok by now, but I’ve got another problem. I chose the “stay” template with a slider, but when I go on the pages, the image slider appears twice.
Maybe i’ve done something which implies a conflict in the template, but I don’t know what. And on my test blog it works… -
I’ve got the same problem today …. Loading design tools… gets stuck and nothing happens. I tried it on different browsers – IE, Firefox and Chrome with no luck. I even cleared my cache.
Please help…

@justpi: thanks for sharing your post… but still I’ve no luck. I’ve tried changing the theme, use different browsers, different computers, use the side bar but to no avail – i still get stuck to ‘Loading design tools…’ and the main page is all blank (white). :'(
maybe I should just try other blog sites.

When using the theme customizer please be sure you are using one of the browsers and versions found here http://browsehappy.com and also be sure you have enabled third party cookies. http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/
Did you purchase a cusom design upgrade?
No changes you try out aside from those such as Custom Background, Custom Header and Theme Options which are stated on the theme description pages for each theme will be visible to visitors unless you purchase an annually renewable custom design upgrade?

@timethief: Thank you,
I have the latest version of the browsers – IE, Firefox, and Chrome.
I have third party cookies enabled
I have also checked the HTTPSI am using the free version themes. Last night when I first changed the basic theme customization, it worked without any glitch… but not today. It is soooooo frustrating… and I have gone through most of the forums’ suggestions but to no avail.

Please check Settings -> Reading in your blog’s Dashboard.
If you have it set to use a static front page there, make sure that you select a page, or switch back to just displaying your latest posts on the front page.

Thanks macmanx but even the front page settings is not shown in the Settings – > Reading of my dashboard. I even created a dummy second page but still that feature is missing. I have read and followed the instructions from http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/ but I cant go through item 8 because I don’t see the front page display option.

Guys thank you for all of your time. I guess it’s a wordpress glitch – suddenly without me doing anything the design tools are now working!
Oh well, beggars can’t complain but how I wish wordpress can make some sort of an announcement when they are working on a fix so we won’t be wasting our time looking for an answer.
Again, thank you everyone :)
