Hi, is the website linked to aogp.net is aogp.wordpress.com ?

A WHOIS query on your domain, marks your nameservers NS1.BDM.MICROSOFTONLINE.COM and NS2.BDM.MICROSOFTONLINE.COM

    Hi, Thanks for quick response.
the website linked to aogp.net should be aogpdotnet.wordpress.com

    What is that means of
“A WHOIS query on your domain, marks your nameservers NS1.BDM.MICROSOFTONLINE.COM and NS2.BDM.MICROSOFTONLINE.COM ”

Sorry, i am not good at website.
But i remember Microsoft technician typed this during the setup of email.

    Hi again,

A WHOIS query gives information about a specific domain name. Normally, the nameservers (the configuration that tells your domain name to point to aogpdotnet.wordpress.com_ are supposed to be something like ns1.wordpress.com.

My guess is that the Microsoft technician overwrote the configuration and that’s why aogp.net does not work anymore.

I’ll tag for a moderator to have a look, maybe they’ll be able to help you.

Please be patient and be sure to subscribe to this post to receive a message when someone will write back !

If you would like your domain aogp.net to point to your WordPress.com site, you will need to update the name servers to point to WordPress.com.

If you want your hosting to be at Microsoftonline.com, then you will need to deal with your email forwarding at your new hosting provider.

Thank you very much for the reply. Thanks.
is it means that i just change back the name servere from “NS1.BDM.MICROSOFTONLINE.COM and NS2.BDM.MICROSOFTONLINE.COM” to > “ns1.wordpress.com”, then my domain site would be back to normal. right?
    Meanwhile,
If point my domain aogp.net to WordPress.com site, will it affect the setting of domain email? Kindly advise.
    Thanks Thanks.

    HI there,

If you want your domain to point to your WordPress.com site, yes you will have to change the nameservers to this:

    • NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
    • NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
    • NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

This will in fact affect your email. So, you will have to add custom records given to you by your email host. Please note that it may take a day or two for everything to propagate and in this time your email may be affected. Take a look at the link before for more information:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/add-email/

Let me know if you have any questions with this!
