Problem logging in to iPad app

    I can’t log in to the WordPress app in iPad – I am asked to update my credentials. I can log in to WP via safari so I do know my username and password! I am using the latest version of the app 3.6.3.

    When you try to log in to the WordPress iOS app, are you using your username or your email address to log in? If you are using your email address, can you try logging in with your username and see if that works for you?

    If that doesn’t work, can you try deleting the app from your iPad and then reinstalling it?

    Please let me know if this works or if you continue getting the message about updating your credentials.

    Hi I have tried using both username and email to log in but I’m still getting the message. I’ve also deleted the application and reinstalled it – still get the same message.

    Just to confirm, are you trying to log in with your WordPress.com username and password or the username and password for your self-hosted WordPress.org site? You will need to use your WordPress.com account information to log into the app.

    If it still gives you the error, can you describe the exact steps you took to log in, the point where the error popped up, and provide the exact error message that you receive?     Hi there yes I am using my wordpress.com login.

    I am doing the following:

    1) opening app
    2) click sign in
    3) enter log in details
    4) press sign in
    5) error message says ‘sorry, we can’t log you in. Please update your credentials and try again’.
