Problem moving from .com to .org
-
Hello,
I recently made the transfer to a self-hosted .org. It is the same URL as before. However, each time I try to access my “new site” (themoonriogirls.com), it redirects to a wordpress.com site(moonriogirl.wordpress.com) with my old content on it. When I click on my sites, it shows two different blogs but I can only change the domain on one of them. When I change the primary domain, it changes for both, apparently. How can i fix this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Is this related to tie earlier thread at https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/not-receiving-transfer-code-2?replies=6#post-2637617 ?

No, not at all- I thought this was due to DNS problems but it has been more than 24 hours. I thought it would resolve by now, but it’s been very frustrating. I also found another old thread with a very similar problem to mine, I don’t know if this helps with explaining.

Hi there,
I am able to see your self-hosted site now. It sometimes take longer than 24 hours for the DNS to propagate. Do you see your self-hosted site on your end now?
Let me know, thanks!

I can see it now, but occasionally it will redirect me from my .org wp admin to a message that says “themoonriogirls.wordpress.com doesn’t exist”. I reset my browser’s cache and it still does it. I can’t even get into my site’s backend at all.

I’m just wondering if this is my browser’s issue or if there is something I messed up during the transfer
-
No, it is not a browser issue.
Let me look at your DNS settings.
Since you can’t access your site, if you know the current password for your account, you can change it by following these instructions below:
You can also change your password from the Settings tab on the WordPress.com home page:
https://wordpress.com/me/security
If you don’t have access to your account or forgot the password, you can request a new password by entering your email address here:
http://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
Please carefully follow the instructions. You’ll receive an email during the reset process, so make sure that you read it for instructions. If you don’t receive the email right away, check your spam folder, as well, because the confirmation email can end up there.
Once you’ve reset your account password, you can see our suggestions for choosing a strong password here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/selecting-a-strong-password/
I’ll let you know if I find anything regarding your DNS settings.
Cheers,
