  • Hi there,

This problem is very often a connection or browser issue, so let’s try and rule that out first.

Can you please try clearing your browser cache and cookies. Instructions here:
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

Next, can you try resetting your modem/router? If it’s possible you can also try checking if it makes a difference if you use a different connection?

From your screen shot it looks like you have some kind of ad-blocker plugin installed in your browser. Some ad-blockers work by just blocking all JavaScript on a page, which will cause it to block the My Sites pages as well. Can you try disabling that and see if it works then. Also make sure that JavaScript is allowed in your browser itself.

Let me know if any of this does the trick or not.

None of your solutions solved my problem, but I tried on my laptop and wordpress works fine.

  • Okay, so it appears it’s only on one computer, right?

Can you try starting Chrome in incognito mode and check if it works then. If it works in incognito mode it means it’s one of your browser extensions that’s causing the problem. Try disabling them all and add them back one at a time, checking each time if the page still works. The moment it stops working, you’ll know what extension is causing the problem.

Can you also try a different browser on the same computer and see if you have problems with that as well?

it don’t work in incognito mode, I already tried on a different browser it’s the same problem (I tried on IE, Chrome and Firefox)…

  • Hi there,

I took another look at your screen shot and I notice the https in the URL is crossed out. Do you see similar warnings in FF and IE? This means your connection is not secure and your browser might be preventing secure page elements from loading as a result.

I found an article that mentions this could happen if your computer’s time settings are out of sync with the web. Can you please check that your computer is set to the correct time zone and that the time itself is correct? You’ll find this in the Control Panel in Windows ->Date and Time.

If that doesn’t work, can you try installing the HTTPS Everywhere browser plugin and check if it works then? That could help to confirm that this is indeed a HTTPS error.

The URL isn’t crossed in firefox but the bug’s still here.
My computer was in the correct time zone.
I don’t really know how to use HTTPS Everywhere but it seems that nothing changed when I installed it…

  • I’m running out of ideas what could be causing this :)

It does appear to be specific to your computer, and not to your browser. Do you have an antivirus and/or firewall program installed? Can you check if it makes any difference if you temporarily disable that?

Can you please follow the instructions linked below to take a screenshot of the developer console in your browser while viewing one of the pages that aren’t working so we can see if there might be a JavaScrips error? Then upload the screenshot to your media library, or to puu.sh that you used for you first screen shot, and paste the link here.
