Problem of importing past xanga post

Hi I’m Ariel. I downloaded my Xanga’s archived document (which is in xml format) and was trying to follow the instruction on the internet to import the file, so that I can read my past posts again. However, the importing has been processing for a day and I’d like to know what is the correct way to do it. Thanks for helping me.

I tried to import them with WordPress importer. Although it said it’s successful, I can’t see any xanga posts on my sites. Where can I find them? or because they are created too long ago (those are created in 2013). Thanks for helping me.

I went to the Xanga importing page but it’s still processing. I also tried one more time using WordPress importer. Although it showed successful process, nothing appears on my site. What can I do now?

Hi there,
I had a look at our logs, and they show that all the files you’ve tried to import are completely empty. So nothing is appearing on your site, because there’s nothing in the files to import.
Please go to Xanga and try exporting your site there again. When you have the files on your computer, open Finder, right-click on a file, and select Get Info. Make sure the file size there is bigger than just a few kilobytes (kb). If the filesize is very small, less than a few hundred kb, then the file doesn’t contain any of your posts.
