Problem of secondary menu with Chrome 39
-
Hello,
With the previous version of Google Chrome (38), the secondary menu of our blog (http://blogmicrosoft.asi.fr) was OK, but with the new version (39.0.2171.65 m) we have a problem :
Some of its items (“Business Intelligence” and “office 365”) are written on two lines instead of one.
Can something be done in order to remedy this problem ?
Thank you in advance.
Claire Chupin.

Hi Claire!
I’m having trouble loading the domain you mention to take a look:
Can you make sure everything is setup correctly?

Hi !
Thank you for your message. It is now possible to visit http://blogmicrosoft.asi.fr
I think the html code or the CSS of the “Responsive” theme used for this blog are made with “old” standards that are not supported anymore by the 39th version of Chrome.
Do you think it could be the source of our problem ?
Can something be done in order to remedy this problem ?
Thank you in advance for your answer.
Claire

Hi Claire,
Currently, the two items you mention are listed on one line on my side in Chrome as shown here:
Can you make sure your browser window is maxed to the largest size your computer screen will accommodate?

Hi Jeremey,
I can see the menu correctly only if the zoom is not 100% or 125%.
But shouldn’t I be able to see it correctly with a 100% zoom ? It looks strange.

Hi!
The menu is appearing at 100% zoom on my side. Could you upload a screenshot of what you’re experiencing to your Media Library? Screenshot instructions can be found here:

Hi,
Here is what I can see with different zooms : http://blogmicrosoft.asi.fr/?attachment_id=170

Thanks for the screenshot! That’s odd – even while zooming in on Firefox and Chrome, I’m unable to produce the layout you’re seeing. Here’s a screenshot of my experience while zooming in on Firefox:
Just to be clear, you’re zooming within the actual browser, not some kind of zoom within your Windows operating system. Correct?
Also, is your browser window is expanded to the full size of your display?

Hello, as indicated in my first message, the problem occurred with the version 39.0.2171.65 m of Chrome, it never happened with Firefox.
But now I think we won’t encounter this problem anymore because one of my colleagues made some changes in the CSS code of the blog.
Thank you for your help !
