Problem pasting links

  Help! I have a problem when I try to copy and paste a link in a post. The link’s address refuses to paste into the URL address block. Instead, the entire link address gets inserted into the post itself. This is driving me crazy. It works sometimes, but increasingly it does not. Lately I have resorted to typing the darn address in manually, but often the address is looooooog!

  I have an iMac, not windows, and my browser is Safari. Is that the problem? Doesn’t seem likely, because it works sometimes. Aargh! Help!

  This sounds to me like it could be an intermittent bug that ought to be reported to Staff. At present the contact link has been deactivated but I believe it will be active after the Memorial Day long weekend comes to an end so you can use it to report then. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

  Thanks for responding, Timethief. Interestingly, I switched to Firefox browser this afternoon and the glitch did not occur for that one attempt. Might be a clue. : )
