Problem – Please check your Primary Site’s Jetpack connection

    I have a site that is attached to my WP account and is no longer active. I would like to delete this site. Following the steps to deactivate the site does not work because it only gives me the following error message ‘Please check your Primary Site’s Jetpack connection’ and leads me to a site that doesn’t exist. I’d like to start from scratch on WP, please advise.
