problem posting…still using standard editor, not liking Block. ed.

trying to add extend info to already published post. New post comes out in editor as layerd over orginal but then appears as normal, single post with updated info showing without the overlay when it appears in blog. Can some one tell me what I’m doing wrong?

Hi there,
I’m not sure what you mean by the post being layered over the original.
Can you please tell me the exact steps you’re following to update the post? Can you also take a screen shot of this overlay you see, and upload it to the media library at My Site ->Site ->Media for me?

Do you mean the published post at https://rharding0728.wordpress.com/2020/05/26/blog2020/ that’s all jumbled up? Looking at this post in the HTML view of the editor the code is a mess.
It also appears that you created this post in the block editor, not the classic editor as you say, and there are both empty blocks scattered throughout the post, and blocks nested inside of other blocks, causing the issues you’re seeing. At least one of the blocks is broken because its HTML has been modified since it was added, and you somehow added multiple paragraphs inside a single paragraph block, which shouldn’t even be possible.
I managed to find the specific HTML that was causing the layout issues, and have fixed that for you. But please be careful directly editing the HTML of any content that was created in the block editor. While it’s possible to directly modify the HTML of any block, specific blocks only allow specific HTML code, and making a change using code that’s not supported in a particular block can cause something like this to happen again.
