No problems with pages; they say “Published”, but when we Google our website which should be at http://dreammonocle.com/ , Google says it does not exist.
Please help! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

/dreammonocle.com/ – does not seem to be registered or domain mapped
dreammonocle.wordpress.com. – is a 5 day old blog with no significant content – it takes 4 to 6 weeks for a new web site to be indexed and that is only if you have content worth indexing

So if we’ve paid for premium, but we don’t have “significant content” wordpress just decides not to publish our site?
This is a website for a publishing company. As a publishing company, our most visited content will be the About Us and Submission Guideline pages.
That being said, how can we register our domain name?

What are DNS records? I feel like I have to be a computer programmer in order to use wordpress. Please help!

Always start by looking in the support documents. Here are the instructions. Domains are fiddly; you cannot make any typos at all. But follow the steps one by one.
Your site IS published. You just haven’t put anything in it. How many people want to read a blank book? How many are SEARCHING for a blank book to read? That’s how many people search engines figure are looking for your blog. Until your blog has enough original content to be of interest to other people, search engines have no reason to index it.
Indexing is not the same as publishing. I shouldn’t have to tell a publishing house that.
