Problem Receiving Domain Transfer Authorization Code

I received a message saying that an email was sent with my domain transfer authorization code, and would arrive shortly. However, I still haven’t received it. Why not?

I’ve just reset the transfer code. Please make sure to check your spam e-mail folder to see if it ended up there.
You should also have received an e-mail confirming the transfer from your new registrar shortly.

I still haven’t received it, and I think it’s because of a different problem. My domain contact email did not stay updated when I changed it. It keeps going back to an email address that no longer exists. Is there a way to make the change stick? Or can someone at WordPress change it for me?

This issue should have been resolved. Can you try changing the contact information on your domain one more time and let me know if the change sticks?

I tried to change the domain registrant email again. Initially, it appeared to work. But about 20 minutes later, I took another look at the domain registrant email and the old one was still there.
