problem registering domain

My domain name sinfinis.com is mapped to WordPress; it was previously registered to GoDaddy, and now that it’s expired, I want to register it to WP. When I try to add it as a new domain, I get an error stating that this domain is already mapped to WP. I need to get this registered right away, as my site is down. I don’t want to register it through GD again – I want to use WP for all things related to my website, but wasn’t able to set up registration since it was already registered to GD when I started using WP. How can I register the domain to WP?

Apparently, WP registers domains through GD anyway. I went ahead and renewed through GD.

When you say WP are you referring to WordPress.com or are your referring to WordPress.org? http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Hi sinfinisme,
It looks like another user on your blog sinfinismusic.wordpress.com has both sinfinis.com mapped to WordPress.com and has registered the .org version. Both domains are current in our system.
Is everything resolved, or are you still having difficulties with this?

I went ahead and renewed our site registration through GoDaddy, so everything is current. Thank you.
