Problem related to domain mapping

Hi
When I try to map my domain, nedresilkestraa.no, to nedresilkestraa.wordpress.com I get this error: ‘Sorry but nedresilkestraa.no has not been registered yet therefore cannot be mapped.’
Can you please tell me what is wrong?I have also tried to change nameservers at my ISP to ns1.wordpress.com, ns2.wordpress.com, ns3.wordpress.com, but my ISP tells me that wordpress.com has to create a correct zone file for my
domain, nedresilkestraa.no, on all wordpress.com-nameservers.
What is the correct path to follow now?Thanks,

Hi Gunstein,
Some domain extensions are not yet supported by the domain mapping tool, that’s why you’re getting the “not been registered” message. I checked and am getting the same error.
This can be solved by Staff, so I’m tagging this thread for their attention. A reply should be on its way soon!

@gunsteinvatnar Could you create a mapping for nedresilkestraa.COM?
When you’ve done that I can go and change it to nedresilkestraa.no.
@thekristaapartment Similarly, can you create mappings for homyland.com and diamond-island.com and I will change them to the correct ones.
This makes it easier for all involved since we can use our built in billing system and track the payments instead of doing it manually.
Please post back here when you’ve done this, and we’ll take care of you.

May we use orthers .com domain? I mean we’ll map them to these two wordpress blogs and you change them to the correct one.

I would prefer not to register nedresilkestraa.com.
It seems to be difficult to get a mapping for nedresilkestraa.no so I think it´s ok with a redirect from my ISP for now. -
I understand now. If you want to map nedresilkestraa.no, please update your name servers to ns1.wordpress.com, ns2.wordpress.com, ns3.wordpress.com
Then I will create zone records for you.

I have tried that and got zone file errors. My ISP claim that you(wordpress.com) must add nedresilkestraa.no to your zone file before I update my name servers.

I’ve created the zone files, can you try updating the nameservers again? Be sure to add your domain at Store -> My Domains in your WordPress dashboard as well.

Now I´m able to update to worpress.com nameservers at my ISP, but I get an error when I try to map to nedresilkestraa.no at wordpress.com.
I´m still getting “Sorry but nedresilkestraa.no has not been registered yet therefore cannot be mapped.” when I use the “Map it” button.I´m not sure what you mean by “Be sure to add your domain at Store -> My Domains in your WordPress dashboard as well.”. I can´t find the menu/choice “My Domains”.
