Problem removing external blogs from Global Dashboard
-
I recently signed up for a WordPress.com account in order to get an API key to use the WordPress.com Stats Plugin with my external blog. Now, while moving servers, I had to re-enter my API key, and upon doing so, a new blog was generated on my Global Dashboard even though it’s the same blog. I now have the same blog listed twice in my Global Dashboard, and I’d like to remove one of them. Now here’s the pickle. There’s no way in the Global Dashboard to edit your blogs, nor am I able to contact Support since they only OFFER support for WordPress.com hosted blogs. This is a WordPress.com issue, obviously, but I’m unable to even send them a message due to their stupid form only allowing support questions for blogs they host. This is very frustrating, and annoying. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You will have to contact staff directly to have them deal with this: http://support.wordpress.COM/contact/ .

You obviously didn’t read my entire post.
I CAN’T CONTACT THE WORDPRESS.COM SUPPORT TEAM! Their form will not allow me to send in my problem since this is an external blog (although this is a WordPress.com issue).

To elaborate, each time I try to send in my issue I am prompted with “We only provide support for WordPress.com blogs here. Please go to the WordPress.org Support Forum for further help.” , which is real dick considering my issue can only be corrected by the WordPress.com support team.

Go to the support page when logged out of wordpress and click the “I don’t have a blog” button and you can contact them. I forgot that was not on the page when logged in.
