problem removing post

in my blog “my trilingual girl” (http://trilingualeducation.wordpress.com/) I cannot remove the post “interest in letters”. I have moved it to trash several times but it doesn’t disappear. I have cleared cache and cookies. When I click on the post it says that the page does not exist any more. One problem seems to be that whenever I try to edit the post the message “there is a newer version of the post” comes up and I am not able to neither restore an older version nor to save the one I am working on

The latest post is from May. I think you’re looking at a cached version of your page and that post is long-gone.

thanks a lot for the quick answer. As I said I have tried to cancel the post many times, so it would be nice if it is gone. But how can I get rid of the cached version. I have already removed caches in my browser

Make sure the post has been permanently deleted from Trash.Here’s how to permanently delete Trash >

Thanks for all the help but I am not able to solve the problem
there is nothing in my trash folder. The post appears only on my homepage, when I click on it I see error 404.
I started having the problem when my internet connection dropped while I was saving.
when I try to edit the post it always says: “Last edited by trilingualdad on September 23, 2012 at 8:42” and “There is an autosave of this post that is more recent than the version below. View the autosave”. But I cannot restore the newer version and I cannot save the old version -
I do not see the post you’re referring- maybe refresh your browser cookies/cache? Because the post is not visible to the rest of us

Hm, I see the problem.
http://trilingualeducation.wordpress.com/2012/03/01/first-interest-in-letters/ is definitely gone, but it’s still listed in the Posts on your Dashboard and can’t be removed.
We’re looking into this now.
