Problem renewing domain
-
I am trying to renew my domain through WordPress.com. I go through the whole process and enter my credit card info, but after I click the final RENEW button, the only error message I receive is “This blog is not subscribed to some of these products. Did you mean to purchase them?” It does not give me an option to remove any of the “products” that they are making me pay for, but it also won’t accept my credit card payment. These are the “products”:
Domain Mapping
1 year subscription
$13.00Domain Registration
1 year subscription
$5.00Domain Late Renewal Fee
One-time payment
$80.00Private Registration
1 year subscription
$8.00I don’t get it? I just want to pay them and renew my domain!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That message seems to show up when you are not logged in as the account that owns the upgrade tries to renew an upgrade
Is there another account you might have used to buy the upgrades?
I have flagged this for staff attention in case you need more help

Domain Mapping
ascentrealestatemarketing.coThe issue is that the WordPress.com user account that you are posting from is not the owner of that domain upgrade. So you must have ended up with a second WordPress.com account at some point. You will need to log into the other account in order to renew the domain

Thanks for your quick responses! There are 3 users for this blog, all with “administrator” privileges. I have logged into all three user accounts and none of them were able to renew the domain. Even when I’m logged into the account that we originally created the blog with, I still can’t renew. It just keeps giving me the same error message: “This blog is not subscribed to some of these products. Did you mean to purchase them?” I have double checked my credit card info, billing zip code, etc. and everything is correct.

The recommendation is for only one Admin per blog and its sensible as the others ought to have Editor status only, minus the ability to delete the whole blog. https://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/ Also no matter how many Admins there are there is only one blog owner.
Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.
ascentrealestatemarketing.com is set as the primary domain for ascentrealestatemarketing.wordpress.com and will appear in the address bar when you visit the site. Therefore you have to determine exactly which username account registered the underlying blog and purchased the domain mapping for it.
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard and renew any upgrades for it.
Clicking this link should display all blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden
If you do not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then
follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibilityIf the log-in information is lost visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
If you are not successful, you can complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.

I promise you that the upgrade is owned by one of the user accounts on the site.
It is the user account with a name that does not have someone’s actual name in it. Is that enough of a hint?
Once logged in, try renewing from this URL:
https://ascentrealestatemarketing.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=my-upgrades
…let me know if that helps.

Thanks rootjosh. I clicked on the link you sent and was able to renew. I have no idea why it didn’t work before when I was logged into the same account. Very frustrating, but I appreciate your support.
