Problem renewing domain name

    Hello!

    Two months ago my domain expired, and I didn´t know or realise the consequenses that would bring. When I try to renew it again, I get the message “There was a problem renewing this domain.”. I have tried purchasing with both credit card and PayPal. On the support sites, it tells me the domain is in a “redemption period”, but that I still can renew the domain name for a redemption fee. (Which is totally fine with me)

    But I still have trouble renewing the domain name, and I really want to keep the name. Do anyone know what I should do?

    Hi Trond,

    I checked the domain stavaastegneserier.com, and it is no longer available to recover through redemption. I removed that expired domain from your account to avoid confusion.

    At this point you’ll need to wait for that domain to fully expire and be released so you can register it again as a new domain. You can read more about the Domain Expiration process if you’re curious about that.

    If the domain becomes available again, you can register it again on the Domains page. I don’t know exactly if or when that will happen, so I’d recommend checking that page to see when the domain is available to register.
