Problem restoring backup
-
Hi, during editing I decided the font settings and other things in wordpress and I couldn’t go back. Fortunately, I have several wordpress backups. I deleted the entire “www” folder and replaced it with the old one. But when I go to the site, nothing has changed. There’s still the new version of my site, including the latest posts, which shouldn’t be there. I would like to return wordpress to the same condition as a week ago. Thank you for any advice.

Hi there,
Would you please let us know your website url?
If your website is hosted elsewhere rather than WordPress.com, please know more here about the differences https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/However, the posts, comments, text content etc. are stored in the database so changing the “www” folder won’t change the contents of your website.
For general discussion about open source software, you can find community advice here https://wordpress.org/support/forums/ where you’ll find more experts who are using the same software as you to provide help.

Thank you for your answer. My website is here: https://www.jirkamucha.cz/
I was unable to log in to wordpress.org. I don’t know why.
I would like to return my site to the same state as a week ago, but I have no idea how to do it.
