Problem sharing to Facebook through Publicise and sharing button

    I use Publicise and have Facebook turned on in sharing, but there’s no tick in the Facebook Publicise box for my latest post (I’ve tried to put one in but it won’t keep it) and it won’t share to Facebook, though my other Publicise shares (Twitter etc) work fine.

    When I tried to share the post to Facebook myself using the sharing button it posted the link but with no text or image from the post.

    I ran the URL for my blogpost through the Facebook debugger and it reported critical errors.
    It said:
    Could not resolve the hostname into a valid IP address.
    The ‘og:type’ property is required, but not present.
    The ‘og:url’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.
    The ‘og:title’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.
    The ‘fb:app_id’ property should be explicitly provided, Specify the app ID so that stories shared to Facebook will be properly attributed to the app. Alternatively, app_id can be set in url when open the share dialog.
