Problem signing into second blog

The blog I’ve had for a year or so is this http://sierrafoothillgarden.wordpress.com/

I just added a new blog fleamarketgardeningdotorg and bought a domain name for it http://fleamarketgardening.org/

Somehow I am not signed into http://fleamarketgardening.org/

I can edit both blogs and see the My Blogs on the dashboard of both when in editing mode. I am set to admin on both and set to visible.

When viewing the new page, what I don’t see is the black bar that allows you to go from viewing the new page back to editing it. After adding a post in the new blog, I click to view it. There is no black WP bar in order to switch back, so I have to use my browser back button.

I don’t seem to be signed in to the new blog when I view it. Did I miss a setting when adding the new blog?

    Thanks!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m seeing the admin bar at the top of your new domain/blog, so this is likely a cookie or caching issue.

Log out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then log back in and take another look.

Do also note that you will always see the wordpress.com URL when in the dashboard on http://fleamarketgardening.org/. On the public side though the pages and posts and such will show your registered URL.

OK, thank you! I signed out, cleared cache and closed the browser. When I logged into wordpress I saw my first blog, then when switching through My Blogs to the new one, I did see the dashboard view and the url is http://fleamarketgardeningdotorg.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

The problem then is that when clicking on the name of the second blog to view it or to see a post, it still appears that I’m no longer signed in. I scroll down and the page says log in. The url I see is http://fleamarketgardening.org/ If I use the back button, I’m again signed in throught the first blog. It’s like there’s a one way door. :-)

Oh, I tried signing in on the new page with no black WP bar and I get sent to the dashboard view for the new page. But if I click the name to view, I go back to unsigned in status.

Thanks so much for any further help??

This could take a little while to resolve. Domain name propagation takes from 24 to 72 hours, and things can sometimes be flakey during that time. I would give it a little time and see what happens.

OK, Thanks! I created the new blog just three days ago.

May I ask you what domain mapping is? I didn’t understand if that applied to my situation. Thank you.

Domain mapping is when you have a WP.com URL and you buy another one and want to apply it to that pre-existing blog.
