Problem: Taken off own site

  I recently got taken off my own site. There are 3 admins on it. 2 are me and my co-worker and the other main admin on the site. For some reason, me and my co-worker got taken off our site. We know the main admin didn’t do it because he hasn’t been on wordpress for 2 years. Can you guys (WordPress) Help add me and my co-worker on the site. This is a business for us and having it taken away was very cruel. We need this site back to ensure we keep our business going.

  Now you know why we recommend only 1 Admin per site. We cannot accommodate your request above.

  Every blog has a sole owner (the original Admin) and it is the person with the username account who registered the blog under that username account and associated email address.

  You need to contact the blog’s owner and have him/her act on this as follows:

  You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchased upgrades to renew them or transfer the blogs and the upgrades to another username account.

  To transfer a blog from one username account A to another username account B you must first log in under the username account A that owns the blog you want to transfer to the other username account.

  Then you add the other username account B as an Admin of the blog.

  The only one that can remove an Admin is the blog owner – if you were removed you were not the blog owner. It might have been “your site” based on the work you and the other did – but that does not make it “your site” as in you are an owner.
