  Hello, I have a blog in wordpress.com: null and I can not add any links in my posts and neither in comments. Thank you !

  1. How are you connecting to the internet and to WordPress.com? The way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems.

  2. Are you using http:// or https:// see http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/

  3.Exactly which browser and version of it are you using? If you don’t know click here to find out > http://whatsmyuseragent.com/

  4. Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050

  5. Is your browser version up to date? You can upgrade any browser version here. http://browsehappy.com/

  6. Have you tried using the browser with all extensions or add-ons disabled?

  9. Do you have another browser you can try?

  I have done all of the above including using Google Chrome. I can copy and paste a link directly into the post but I can’t change the name that will show up such as “Last year” in the support link. When I click on the link button, nothing happens.

  You type the name first, then select it, then click the Link button.

  Thank you so much for helping me! I have cleaned my browser and now I can insert the link. But still, when I add a link it is published only the link, without some details like picture or first phrase. My browser version is up to date, the last version of Opera. I am connecting to the internet through DSL. I will check again all the advices you gave me. Thank you!
