problem transfering domain name

The directions for transferring my domain name don’t match the actual steps & I ended up accidentally deleting my account. I still need to transfer my domain name to another site & I still can’t get it done. The fact that it’s impossible to reach a real person at your company makes it all the more a problem & reinforces why I’m trying to leave your site.

Your domain is mapped at WordPress.com, but it’s registered at Tucows domain. Is this what you wanted?

No, I want to point my domain name to a new place but the instructions said to look for things that weren’t there. Now I’ve deleted my account & I still don’t know how to get the information I need to point the domain in a new direction. I don’t have the “code” the new site is asking for. As a matter of fact the only information I have is new site’s name server. What am I suppose to do? Every minute my site is down is another minute I’m falling behind on starting my own company.

Are you referring to njoievents.com ? because that one is still active and the account is too. The domain is not registered at WordPress.com, which means the domain redirection doesn’t go through us. The domain is registered at Tucows.com and is mapped to WordPress.com. Contact Tucows to change your nameservers and point the domain elsewhere.
