Problem updating email

  i want to use a different email address for my main account so i created a throw away email and now that the throw away email is the email set for the throw away wordpress account, it still wont let me use the email i want for my main wordpress account.

  Could you please describe it a little more?
  – Is your email used for any other WordPress.com account at present?
  – Are you trying to change email in an existing account or creating a new account?
  – What error/message do you get when you try to change the email?
  – Did you get any emails from WordPress.com related to changes to your account when you tried to change the email?

  It would be great if you could tell me the following:

  • Which email address would you like to use for your main account?
  • Can you confirm the username of the main account you are referring to?

  Your email address will be redacted from public view but I will be able to see it.
