Problem uploading new header to Fjords

  I designed a new header for the Fjords theme, but it didn’t quite work as that theme repeats pieces of the picture. However, I can’t upload the new header. Do you only get one shot at it? So now that I’ve gotten this entire page set up, do I need to pick a new theme? And if so can someone recommend a good one with three sidebars? I like that set up. THANKS!

  The image has to be the correct size. For fjord, that’s 900*200 pixels. If you use something smaller, you get the repeat.

  However, I can’t upload the new header.

  Why can’t you? Do you get some sort of error or what?…

  @DrMike: FYI, i use Fjord on one of my sites (eslresources.wordpress.com), and even though the header i uploaded was 900×200, it still repeats at the edges. Doesn’t bother me, but i can see how it would bother other folks. Must be a theme quirk.

  The original file I uploaded is what shows up when I try to upload the new file. Both are exactly 900X200.

  does the new file have the same filename by any chance? I have had issues on other themes when trying to use a new picture that has the same name as the old one (something generic like “header.jpg”). If, so just change the name of the file and try again.

  Otherwise, clear your cache, etc. to make sure your browser isn’t just showing you old stuff. Good luck!

  Thanks! I’ve tried uploading it as different formats, but not with a new title. I’ll give it a shot!
