Problem Uploading photos from iPad

  I used to be able to upload photos from my iPad with no problems whatsoever but now when I try to do so I get a message saying WordPress doesn’t have access. I have checked my iPad settings and WordPress is listed as being able to access photos. Is this something to do with latest iPad upgrade.

  I’ll mark this thread for staff assistance as it does sound like that could be a hiccup with the mobile app.

  In the meantime, you might try revoking access, and then reconnecting the WordPress app to your photo library.

  Hi there,

  I’m sorry for the trouble! Are you using the WordPress app on your iPad? If so, logging out of the app (by going to the “Me” section, tapping on “Settings,” and logging out there) and then logging back into your account may resolve this for you.

  If that doesn’t fix it, please go to the “Me” section and then tap on “Settings” in the upper right. On the Settings page, please tap on “About” and let me know what version number is listed there.

  Then, please let me know what version of iOS you have on your iPad. (You can check that in Settings > General > About on the iPad.)

  Those details will help me investigate this for you. :)

  I am using version 8.0.2
  I’m not sure where the me section is – do you mean on WordPress – where do I find this?

  Sorry, let me back up a step — are you using the WordPress app on your iPad or are you accessing WordPress from a browser (for example, Safari) on the iPad?

  Ok I access WordPress via a browser normally.
  I did find the me section and the version of WordPress is 4.3.1
  I have tried logging out and logging back in
  I have tried removing access to my photos in my IPad settings and then restoring them again
  But still unable to upload
  Very frustrating
  I would welcome any help
  I will also look at the thread mentioned above

  Just to let everyone know I have sorted out the problem. I was accessing WordPress through Google and I discovered I had to give access to google to my photos.
