Problem w/ medium.com embed

  Complete beginner so I am sure the answer is easy and obvious, but thanks in advance for your help.

  I am following the rules for a medium.com embed found here:

  I’m sorry, but that embed code will not work because we do not allow certain tags on WordPress.com for security reasons, including JavaScript, Flash, iframe, form, and input tags.

  These restrictions are in place to prevent any disruptions in service due to potentially malicious code.

  From that same Medium support doc:

  Note about embedding on wordpress.com: If you’re trying to embed on wordpress.com, just paste the Medium story, profile, or publication URL and hit return. No need to copy the embed code.

  Haven’t tried it, so don’t know if this is a supported oembed.

  @jamesneeld – I have it working on a post on my demo site, but the only thing that shows up is the header image of the post which links to the article on Medium.

  @justjennifer – Hey jennifer, i’m currently trying to add my Jour Magazine from substance to wordpress, much like your post.

  i’m curious as to what code, or method, you used to produce the screenshot you took.

  justjennifer used cloudup.com it is also owned by Automattic Inc. which owns WordPress.com too.
