Problem when access to my website

  • Unknown's avatar

Why happen this (below) when somebody try to go to my website?:

Has intentado acceder a granadaesagua.com, pero, en su lugar, has accedido a un servidor que se identifica como *.wordpress.com. Esto se puede deber a una configuración incorrecta del servidor o a otra causa más grave. Es posible que alguien haya interceptado tu red y esté intentando obligarte a acceder a una versión falsa (y potencialmente peligrosa) de granadaesagua.com.
No deberías continuar, sobre todo si no has recibido nunca esta advertencia para este sitio.

You have attempted to access granadaesagua.com, but instead you actually reached a server that is identified as * wordpress.com.. This may be due to a misconfiguration on the server or by something more serious. It is possible that someone has intercepted your network could be trying to access to a fake (and potentially harmful) version of granadaesagua.com.
You should not proceed, especially if you have never seen this warning before for this site.

This is very bad to my website because people thinks it is dangerous site. Please contact me ((email visible only to moderators and staff))

    Hi there!

When you connect to your Dashboard or blog over an HTTPS connection, we use an SSL certificate to encrypt your connection. SSL certificates need to be signed to a specific domain, and we can’t provide certificates for every mapped domain, so our certificate is signed for WordPress.com.

When you go to your own domain with https:// but your security software sees a certificate signed to http://wordpress.com/ it’s altering you that WordPress.com may be intercepting your connection, which of course is perfectly fine.

Most security systems like this should have a way to add a permanent exception so you will never see the warning again in this instance.

To prevent your readers running into this in their browsers, just make sure that whenever you provide a link to your blog or post it anywhere, that you post it as http://granadaesagua.com and not https://granadaesagua.com

You can read more about this here:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/

That page will also give you instructions on how to disable that pop-up on your browser.

Let me know if you have further questions!

Thanks a lot! I supposed like you say, but I really had no idea about https and http, so it was very helpful for me. Again thanks!
