problem when email after creation is lost

    Hi,
    I discovered that WordPress is not prepared when after creation email with confirmation/setting password is lost or deleted by mistake.
    Steps are :
    1. Created account
    2. Lack/ignore email with setting password link
    3. Problem with reset/set new password.

    When account is not confirmed with ‘setting password link’ then reset password request sends invalid link and there is no way for do anything with account from user’s level.
    I hope I explained it properly.
    It should be covered somehow, or reset password should resend first email from point 2.

    Are you having trouble resetting the password for your account behemius?

    There have been a number of changes in how the signup process works since you set up this username/account, so newer accounts can reset their password in this situation. However, if you’re having this problem on your account, please let me know so I can investigate that with our team.
