problem with 1and1

    Hi,

I’m trying to configure y 1and1 account with mysql services and trying to work with work press through my domain.

I’ve uploaded the wp-config.php file, but when I try to get my web page, there is a message like this:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘@’ in /homepages/3/d512109653/htdocs/wp-config.php on line 25

I have my password with a @ symbol, so I thought that this was the error. I don’t understand if I can have a @ symbol in my password.

otherwise, i changed mine, but another message appears to me:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘.1’ in /homepages/3/d512109653/htdocs/wp-config.php on line 28

I this because my hostname is: db51799789.db.1and1.com

I think that the error is because in my hostname has a .1 but… I don’t understand why appears that error.

    Can anybody help me please?

    Thank you so much
    MARC

The site you are asking about does not seem to be hosted on WordPress.COM so you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using.

This site is for support of sites hosted on WordPress.COM. You should address your questions to WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using: http://wordpress.org/support/

The forum at WordPress.ORG is not connected to WordPress.COM so you will need to open an account at .ORG if you do not already have one. You may use the same email at WordPress.ORG as you do at WordPress.COM.

If you are asking for help with a WordPress.COM site then we need a link to that site to give you accurate help.
