problem with a linked blog
-
My wordpress blog, sarahstoneartdorcom.wordpress, aka Art Integral, was added to my website sarahstoneart.com which is now indicated in wordpress as a linked blog. The blog address on my website is actually sarahstoneart.com/blog. This website configuration of the sarahstoneart.com/blog site seems to be getting no traffic and I am thinking it is because of a possible lack of something needed between the old blog and the new site link. Do I need to transfer some data or connect something?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello there!
Your WordPress.com site (sarahstoneartdotcom.wordpress.com) is not connected to your site, sarahstoneart.com. Your site sarahstoneart.com is a self-hosted instance of WordPress and is not hosted here at WordPress.com. Your blog page (sarahstoneart.com/blog) is also not hosted here. That is also being hosted on your site’s server. Because of this, I have no access to your site.
If you want to manage your blog here at WordPress.com, you can map it to your self-hosted site. The only issue with this is that you cannot map a WordPress.com site to a folder. The URL sarahstoneart.com/blog indicates a folder because of the /blog. If you want to map your blog, it’ll have to be to a subdomain, which will look like this: blog.sarahstoneart.com.
If you’d like the entire site to be a self-contained WordPress.org site, support staff at WordPress.com do not have access to your site’s files or the ability to provide support for your current issue.
You can find support for your self-hosted WordPress site here:

Thank you, if anything that adds to my confusion. When I got to WordPress.com I see a link that says “All My Sites, manage all my sites”. When I open that page I come to a page where my once wordpress site, Art Integral, is listed. If I click on it, I am taken to a page where that site has links to click like stats, posts etc. If I click “View Site” I am linked to the home page of my website, sarahstoneart.com.
So, this blog is linked through your system to my blue host site, but is linked to the wrong page. How do I change that? Through you or through Blue Host? and if Blue Host, then what connection if any does WordPress have with this site? It’s on my “sites” page but I can’t edit it through WordPress? -
Hey there,
I see the confusion. What is happening when you click on your Art Integral site (http://sarahstoneartdotcom.wordpress.com/), is that the site is forwarding to http://sarahstoneart.com. It isn’t “feeding” sarahstoneart.com/blog with posts. The two do not share live content. Please clear your browser’s cache using the instructions below, then revisit Integral Art.
You haven’t posted to Art Integral since July 31, 2014. Here is your list of posts from that site:
https://sarahstoneartdotcom.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.phpHowever, you HAVE posted to your self-hosted site since then — as late as December 4, 2014. That post was created on your self-hosted site’s server, not here at WordPress.com.
So, this blog is linked through your system to my blue host site, but is linked to the wrong page. How do I change that?
You had expired mapping from WordPress.com to Bluehost. I cleared it, so your WordPress.com site won’t redirect to it anymore. This was happening in error.
then what connection if any does WordPress have with this site?
There is not a connection between your sites on WordPress.com and your self-hosted site on Bluehost.
It’s on my “sites” page but I can’t edit it through WordPress?
You can edit your WordPress.com site, but this content will not appear on your Bluehost site.
I know I’ve tossed a lot of details at you, so please let me know what questions remain, and how I can help further.
