Problem with a pop up ads

    Hi – I wonder if any one could help. When I visit my blogsite via a web browser (on android) or from another platform a pop up keeps appearing at the top of my blogsite. I think it will be putting potential readers off. And I’m finding it irritating. I have cleared caches (several times) & made sure the search app is up to date, but it keeps reappearing. I’m at a loss as to how to block it. Any help/advice would be appreciated. I’m not a tech wizz. Thank you.

    Are you referring to the Cookie & Privacy Banner that shows at the bottom of the screen? If so you can read more about it here – https://en.support.wordpress.com/cookie-widget/

    If not, can you please describe it a bit more in detail what you are referring to?

    Hi – thanks so much for your reply.

    It’s definitely not the Cookie & Privacy Banner. It is very different. It appears as a grey block banner partially over the top of my blog site, then a pop up banner ad appears. It now seems to have gone. Perhaps because I cleared caches again? But it keeps happening. Very odd. The site stutters to load then it appears.
