problem with a username
-
I want to create a blog with the username “danielbageac”. I cannot do so because I get a message saying this username is not available and that the site danielbageac.wordpress.com already exists.
I never registered with this username before….Even though, if I try to login using danielbageac as username and ask for a new password I get the message “I’m sorry, but we weren’t able to find a user with that login information.”
Can someone please explain me the problem? Is this username registered or not? If yes, how can it be since I’ve never used wordpress before? If not, why is wordpress refusing this registration?
Thank you for your helpThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

URL for the blog in question http://danielbageac.wordpress.com/
It seems like you may have registered that blog under either the username account you are posting with here, or under another username account, and you may have to use account recovery. You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard.
Clicking this link should display all your blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden
If you do not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then
follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibilityIf you have lost your log-in information you can visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
If required please complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.

I typed in “danielbageac” before wordpress.com and this is the result. ” http://danielbageac.wordpress.com/ is marked private by its owner. “
So yes, someone already has this user name. You will have to create something else.

Unless he created it under another username account and needs to recover it as I described above. ;)
