Problem with appearance of static homepage
-
Hi, I am using Baskerville for my blog https://princeofblacksheep.wordpress.com/
Recently, when you land on the homepage, I have noticed there is a big blank gap where the picture tiles and excerps of the posts should be. They are somewhere way down at the bottom. How do I fix this please? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What is the name of the theme you are using please? You can find that out here https://princeofblacksheep.wordpress.com/wp-admin/themes.php

Baskerville has been replaced Baskerville 2. Please upgrade to it and see if you issue resolves. https://wordpress.com/theme/baskerville-2
re: switching themes
Themes are just “skins” on WordPress.COM hosted blogs.
Note that switching themes https://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/#switch-themes can be easily done, provided you are logged in as Admin under the same username account that registered the site, you tohttp://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/themes.php
*Replace NAME_OF_BLOG in that URL with the actual name of your blog. wp-admin/themes.php
The theme customizer https://en.support.wordpress.com/customizer/ provides a preview function for exactly that purpose ie. so you can view what a theme will appear like prior to changing one.
If the issue does not resolve after switching to Baskerville 2 then type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question Also subscribe to this thread so you are notified when they respond and be patient while waiting. Thankyou, I shall try that.
Re. your last paragraph “type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up” – do you mean the box under “Tags” to the right of this thread? -
