problem with blog post – pages show up post does not!

Hi, I’m working on a site – sciencemoms.wordpress.com – I made and published a bunch of pages no problem, and then I tried posting to the blog, but it won’t show up. My post is in there – shows up under manage pages, I’ve made sure that the publish box is clicked but it still will not show up on the public site!
I noticed while fooling around changing themes, that with some themes, the blog post shows up – but then one of the pages (the About page) doesn’t! Is there a limit or something that I’ve surpassed?
Anyone know what I’m doing wrong!? Thanks – Emily

I found one post by looking at your blog feed, is this the one you mean? I think what’s going on is that you have a static page set on the front of your blog but you haven’t set a page for the rest of your posts; it’s published but there’s no way for your readers to see it.
http://faq.wordpress.com/2007/02/20/having-a-static-page-at-the-front-of-the-blog/If you go to Dashboard > Options > Reading you can set a page there to display your posts and you should be able to see it then. You might also want to put the recent posts widget in your sidebar in Dashboard > Presentation > Widgets. Hope that helps.

OK, I just went to your blog (you can add your blog to your profile by clicking on the view in the upper right hand corner) and landed on the “About” page. Have you made this a static page by any chance? I can click on the other pages but not the blog page.
Secondly, you mentioned that you can see your post under “manage pages.” You should see it under “manage posts” Try writing a test post and publishing that and see if it shows up on the blog page.
