problem with blog url

  I created a blog with url rapidhow.wordpress.com.. but then i deleted it.. now i want to create a blog with that name again but doesnt seem to be available.. i dont think someone took that name so quickly.. how much time does it take to restore the name after the site is deleted?

  Deleted wordpress.COM blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and the only exceptions are made are for URLs that were deleted 2 or more years ago. http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
