Problem with capitalization
-
I am new to wordpress and I recently added a menu as part of my header. I am using the oxygen theme and the menu is in the primary slot. I put 7 categories in the menu.
The problem I am having is that for some reason it turns off all capitalization on the categories. Capitalization is essential because this is a sports blog and some of the categories are the names of conferences that are better known by their abbreviations rather than their full names (SEC, Pac-12, AAC, ACC, etc.)
To make things easier for my readers these categories must be in CAPs like i typed them
Can someone show me how to turn off this stupid auto
de-capitalization setting?my blog is http://www.sportspolitico.com and the issue I am having are the topics right underneath the giant sportspolitico headline
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

sportspolitico — Nice looking site!
I don’t have an answer for you (someone more knowledgeable than I may weigh in), but I thought I’d offer the opinion that the lower case letters look fine. It’s a stylized thing with the theme, and I don’t find it distracting at all. Nor do I find that it makes it difficult for me as a sports fan to tell at a glace what the “pac 12” or “sec” means.
So if it’s important to you, then I hope you find the answer. But if you decide to leave it, I think it looks great the way it is. Either way, best of luck with your blog!

Your options are:
a) change themes or
b) buy the CSS upgrade and change it in the CSS code.
