Problem With Cart Button
-
I have a website joellepoulos.com and on a multisite a separate website joellepoulos.com/shop
On my joellepoulos.com homepage I previously got a developer to make the cart button just link to my shop which he added to the menu (the one on the right) through some HTML (<i class=”fas fa-shopping-bag”></i> and linking to the desired link).
As I’ve recently updated my theme I now have 2 shopping bag icons, one comes directly from the theme (the one on the left). Would it be possible to integrate this with my /shop part of my website as it is separate? Alternatively, how can I make it so this icon just links to the /shop website and doesn’t open up the cart box that comes up? I’ve looked and looked through the documentation and settings and I can’t find where you alter that link!

Hi there!
I’m afraid that your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Siteground.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so we can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com here:
https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/You can look for help at the community forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
http://wordpress.org/support/ is also a great resource for sites using the open-source WordPress.org software.
