Problem with changing blog address!

    Hey,

    I’m new to WordPress and before I got the hang of it I accidentally created two blogs under one username. I completely deleted one of them so I figured I could use the web address of the old one (which is now deleted, it even says so when I enter it into my address bar) for the one I’ve decided to keep. However, when I try to change my current web address to the name I had used on the now deleted blog, I am told the URL is already taken and I can’t use it. Do I have to wait a few hours or something for it to kick in that that name is now available, or what? I’m pretty sure I discarded the name when I deleted the blog so I don’t understand what’s going on.
