problem with changing the name server
-
My domain name (DellaLoredo.com) with wordpress.com hosting expires today. I have been working on a self-hosted site through Bluehost to transfer this domain to, and now have everything set to transfer on their end. However, they said I need to change the name server on the wordpress.com end. They referred me to this article to accomplish this: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/change-name-servers/ This looks easy to follow … except that the “Edit” button described in the first step doesn’t give me a “Name Server” option; the only options it gives me are “Email” and “Edit DNS.” So what do I do now? (They said I need to change the name servers to “ns1.bluehost.com” and “ns2.bluehost.com” — but you probably already know that.)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello there, Delia!
If you’ve transferred your domain to Bluehost, in order to “disconnect” your domain from your WordPress.com site, and use it on your new site, all you have to do is disconnect your domain mapping. I’m happy to do this for you, if you give me permission.
Then, your name servers at Bluehost will need to reflect the website’s server. If you’re also hosting your website at Bluehost, you can use their default name servers and everything will work well.
Please let me know if you’d like me to detach your domain mapping here at WordPress.com!
Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks very much.

Hi there!
Thanks for the confirmation. I’ve taken care of the cancellation of your domain mapping for you.
If I can assist with anything else, please do let me know! All the best to you…and good luck with the self-hosted site!
