problem with comments

  is it possible to remove the comment box and enable comments? there are instructions for enable comments here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/ and i tried to follow them but the problem’s that i can’t find the discussion module where to uncheck the ‘allow comments’ option, that is, neither can i find this option to uncheck.
  and i’ve got premium upgrade and i’m using theme ‘Origin’ if it makes any difference.
