problem with comments and email

    I receive some comments in my website. The author does not get my reply . My reply only goes to website. Please help. Also I tried this plugin called Comment Approved Notifier Extended.’ but thhis time the comments made by outside user no longer appeared in my admin page. Without this plugin I when a comment is received I get a message from (email visible only to moderators and staff) and then the comment appears in my admin page but after installing the plugin, I now receive an email called PHP SNIPPETS FROM THE AUTHOR and no more wordpress sending me emails. Please advise. thanks my domain is stjoachimsparish.org
