I have viewed your blog using Firefox 6.0.2 and only see the issue you describe on this page http://ww1epitaphs.wordpress.com/cemeteries-from-france/. Have you done any CSS editing on this blog? Or did you change the font size and color using the editor.

I’m not seeing that on this site, http://ww1epitaphs.wordpress.com/ , are you talking about another?
What browser are you seeing this in? Can you take a screenshot, upload it to your media library and post a link so we can see what you are seeing?

@TSP
FWIW I see this only in the red colored all in capital lettering string “PAGES CURRENTLY BEING CONSTRUCTED: PLEASE VISIT BACK SOON…” on this page only > http://ww1epitaphs.wordpress.com/cemeteries-from-france/ -
The problem appears to be in the stylesheet on line 20.
Modify the font size contained within this code:body, input, textarea {
color: #373737;
font: 300 15px/1.625 “Helvetica Neue”,Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;

@strodick
Please link your WordPress.com username to your WordPress.com blog and remove the link to the site it’s currently linked to. Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Website‘ select the URL for your primary WordPress.com blog and then save changes. -
I’m not seeing the issue in Firefox 6.0.2, Safari 5.1, or Opera something point something so it is difficult for me to figure out a fix. You can try increase the line height (the 1.625em number) but a little, perhaps 1.65 and see what happens. Past that, without being able to see the issue and try some things, I’m sort of at a loss.
