problem with DNS record format

Hi I’ve mapped my domain name to my wordpress blog however I’m having trouble getting my email to work.

my domain provider one.com gave me with the following mx to enter into wordpress’ custom dns settings.

    mx-cluster-d1.one.com
    mx-cluster-d2.one.com

However when I enter these I get the following message

We can’t save these records because they don’t look right to us. Check the errors below. Please contact support if you are unable to resolve the problem.

    1. This does not match any of the DNS record formats.
    2. This does not match any of the DNS record formats.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards

    Try

    MX 5 mx-cluster-d1.one.com.
    MX 5 mx-cluster-d2.one.com.

Note the . after “com” and don’t change any of the other records. For info “MX” tells it what the record type is and “5” is the priority, both mail servers are given the same priority here.
