problem with Domain mapping
-
Hi there,
At 1und1 in Germany, I bought the domain integraleszeitmanagement.de.
The mapping process with the wordpress nameservers does not seem to work.
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM through NS3 can’t be mapped, and the 1und1 support say it is not their fault.
Any suggestions?
Any similar experiences?
Thanks a lot for your help.

You will need to have wordpress add a “zone” record for you to be able to map a .de domain to your site here. I’ll tag this thread for staff attention so that they can get that added for you. It might be a few hours or so before that happens though.

I have manually added a zone record for your domain.
You should now be able to map it here following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/
Please let us know if you need any further assistance!

Thanks for adding the zone record.
I have now made ns1.wordpress.com the primary nameserver and ns2.wordpress.com the first secondary nameserver. the rest I left free. But I have the same problems as before: I get the message that the domain request had mistakes….
What am I doing wrong?? Idid some simialr work maybe a year ago and had no problems whatsoever….
Thanks for your help!

I am having a similar problem…I tried to have my domain name mapped to wordpress and it is not showing up on any internet browser. Instead I get a message stating that “internet explorer can’t display the page”. Go daddy is where I purchased the domain name…forcurvyqueens.com
Can anyone help me??

@queenbrit: Your domain name works fine on my end. If it still doesn’t, wait a little more (It takes up to 72 hours for changes to be effective).
Also, in order to truly replace your old __.wordpress.com address by your new __.com, you should set up your primary domain as shown here.
